The Swiss manufactured vintage Elna Super 62C is a semi-industrial strength type of sewing machine with an automatic bobbin winder. It runs very smoothly through the heavier leather to the most delicate silks. It has a top loading bobbin, button hole setting, dual speed variable foot control, adjustable needle; dual needle capability; internal cam systems with 6 built in stitches and numerous cams for speciality stitches; adjustable stitch length system; forward and reverse knob; built in light; electronic speed control, cleated belt drive, rotary hook with metal construction. The Elna 62C allows for automatic reverse feed dog direction for a wider variety of specialty stitches which was unlike any other mechanical machine of that era.
